STORES & FLEET MANAGER

Role Profile

Assisting and supporting the operations team

  • Sending out Labour Board to all site staff on a weekly basis
  • Logging of all site paperwork and completion paperwork regarding equipment and fleet
  • Making sure all plant and equipment has been checked prior to being delivered to site
  • Making sure all required equipment is on site to carry out works
  • Hiring and off hiring required equipment and plant in a timely fashion
  • Liaising with clients regarding material requirements
  • Monthly vehicle checks
  • Running equipment boards (Company & Hire)
  • PAT Testing equipment and plant
  • Regular communication with the Operations Manager in regards to new plant and equipment requirements
  • All purchases to be raised through the Office Manager
  • Stores to be kept clean and tidy
  • Ensure full liaison, cooperation and communication is maintained in order to report, manage, mitigate, close out, etc any quality/performance related matters
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Chirmarn business and in doing so pro-actively promoting the Chirmarn brand and values both internally and externally
  • Proactively promoting all areas of the Chirmarn business to our existing and future client base including identifying cross selling opportunities for the wider business
  • Ideally live locally to ensure they can open the stores when required
  • Key Role KPIs

  • Timely reporting of all operational/quality information and KPI’s to their Line Manager
  • Timely communication of relevant information to the Asbestos Senior Management Team
  • Management of work at all stages in line with the Chirmarn IMS
  • Continuous efficient running of projects
  • All equipment and fleet managed to a high standard
  • Spreadsheets maintained and up to date
  • Correspondence responded to and dealt with promptly
  • All paperwork checked and stored correctly
  • Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of the asbestos discipline and of business operations
  • High level interpersonal skills
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • A problem-solving approach to work
  • Organised and punctual
