Chirmarn – LilQuest Merger Statement 19th February 2020

We are delighted to announce the imminent merger of LilQuest Asbestos Management and Chirmarn Asbestos into one leaner and agile single business unit, which is in line with of our planned growth strategy. This merger amalgamates two established and trusted brands in the asbestos removal sector, with a proven pedigree over the last several decades.

This change represents an exciting transformation and advancement for our businesses, combining mutual knowledge and expertise to the benefit of all key stakeholders, i.e. clients, supply partners, regulators and employees.

Our companies are progressive leaders in the sector with a desire to adapt to continual change. Our success is testament to our dedicated and loyal workforce. From the management team through to the site operatives, improvements and growth have culminated in us realising our expansion targets.

As part of this integration, a thorough change management plan is currently in process to ensure we implement best practice across the whole business – we aim to align shared resources (including technical, operational, sales, finance, IT, HR etc) and identify synergies to lower costs to enable us to service clients outside our traditional technical and geographical limitations. Through this change we intend to enhance our core services, rationalise the cost base, leverage our purchasing capability to drive economies of scale and maximise further growth opportunities.

Whilst our plans are being implemented, it will remain ‘business as usual’ throughout 2020, with seamless access to our existing management, processes and systems. Once the integration is finalised, we intend to rebrand the business, however, we will communicate with our key stakeholders with significant announcements to be made during the process.

The merger of our existing businesses is we believe a natural next phase in the development of the Bing Bing Group. Lilquest Facilities will also be integrated into the same group, which then allows us to offer clients a project turnkey solution for asbestos abatement works and all associated services for maintenance, fire, refurbishment and development.
