Mission Statement May 2021

It is clear that the world will look different as we move beyond the COVID-19 crisis to the new normal. This requires us to consider a delicate balance between protecting the workforce, demonstrating compliance and managing client and supplier relationships, all whilst maintaining positive productivity and financial stability.

Many companies including those in construction are by no means out of danger and this will be the case for many months and possibly years to come. However, now is the time for business to reinterpret its own industry and consider how it will emerge out the other side from a position of strength. Indeed, following the 2008 financial crisis, those companies that came out stronger were the ones that were willing to adjust to the new business landscape. Much of that applies now to the post pandemic business world.

It is clear to us that as current lockdown restrictions ease in the UK, opportunities will present themselves and that early signs show that demand will be high for our services following a year of continual disruption. At present, we have a very positive order book in the short term and hope to build and consolidate upon this in the longer term through a strong commitment to our workforce, customers and suppliers. We have in previous months reviewed our operations and made positive changes that will benefit our productivity, reduce costs and allow our business to adapt to the changing needs, whilst remaining resilient to any further shocks.

It has been a tough 12 months for everyone, and we thank those that have continued to support our business through the pandemic. All the indicators now show signs of positivity and we therefore very much look forward to working with you all ongoing through 2021 and beyond.
