CARE HOME, NORTH PROJECT

Happy Friday from Chirmarn! We wanted to share some more wonderful news about what we’ve been up to recently!

WHAT WAS REQUIRED?

At the request of a National Care Home Facilities Group, Chirmarn delivered on a request for environmental cleaning of a Boiler House in 2022. There was also the involvement of a seal of asbestos rather than re-paint.

WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO

Following the brief, Chirmarn’s Asbestos Removal Specialists removed some residual thermal residues and existing paint from the perimeter walls. This was carried out under fully controlled conditions, ensuring that the home's ongoing maintenance was not disrupted.

HOW DID WE DO IT?

Due to the historic degrading of the paintwork, the walls required sealing of the retained ACM to prevent this from being deposited into the boiler house area in the future. This gave the client peace of mind that their existing boiler house has now been afforded a 10-year guarantee covering the sealing of the walls containing ACMs and removing the risk of potential future debris.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?
